Planning and organization are KEY when it comes to being successful. Period. When you organize your schedule and write everything down that you’ve committed to, it helps to hold you accountable. It also helps with the obvious too: forgetting. Sometimes my schedule can get pretty hectic so my Girl CEO Daily Planner is my life saver.

Surround Yourself With Like-Minded People

This right here can be a game changer for you and your business. I had to learn the hard way that sometimes your “Inner Circle” isn’t always the best for you. You have to find people with the same mindset and goals as you, otherwise you can be held back. I know it can be a hard pill to swallow, but sometimes letting go of those people who hold you back can make all the difference in your success. This is why I created my “Inner Circle” designed for women entrepreneurs who are looking to surround themselves with like-minded women, all working toward similar goals.

Learn How To Say No

As an entrepreneur it may seem strange that I would say that saying “no” is so important. Entrepreneurs are go getters, hustlers, and typically take every opportunity that comes their way, right? Well that is correct, BUT everyone has their limit also. It’s impossible to take on everything that comes your way. You have to set boundaries and recognize that sometimes you just can’t do it all.

Find Your Passion

It’s easy to be a hustler and go getter, but when you find your true passion, that’s when the magic happens. It takes time, but it’s so worth it in the end. I started out knowing that I wanted to help women grow their businesses, but I wasn’t quite sure what my end goal was or how I was going to get there. So I started small. I started a Facebook group for women like me and we would talk and share ideas. I then realized my vision was bigger than just a Facebook group so I created a website. From there, I realized my story and my experiences were exactly what these women needed and I could help coach them into the entrepreneurs that they were hoping to be. And that’s how my Girl CEO Inner Circle began. Your passion doesn’t have to be discovered over night. It took me years to figure out exactly what mine was and it’s still constantly changing and adapting. The important thing is to find the underlying goal and develop from there.
