What are you looking for in providers?

We’re looking for service providers who are accomplished in their areas of practice. This partnership will be exciting and requires flexibility and understanding that the HER Pro-bono Technical Assistance Program will be fast-paced and ever-changing.

As a service provider, will I be paid my normal rate for services provided?

The pay structure is determined based on the service package that will be provided, length of time, and budget. This is a new program so we are working to honor our providers while also maintaining a budget for program longevity.

How will I be contacted if I am selected as a provider in the program?

We will email all businesses/consultants who are selected to participate in the program. Be sure you provide your best email address.

Am I going to be contacted if I am not selected as one of the providers?

Our goal is to email each business even if they were not selected.

How long will I need to provide services for?

The program is 8 months long. We are looking for providers who can honor this length of time.

What if this would be my first-time providing services?

We are looking for businesses that have established experience providing services. If this would be your first time serving customers, we ask that you apply after you’ve acquired success stories in your business. You may also want to consider joining our “Elevate” program.

Do I have to be a Black-owned business?

No. Our service providers can be from all backgrounds and/or ethnicities.

Will I get to choose the businesses I’d like to offer my services to?

This is determined by the Our Village United team during the selection process based on the services offered by the provider and the needs of the businesses accepted into the HER Pro-Bono Program.

How long has HER Pro Bono been in existence?

This is the first iteration of HER Pro-Bono. We ask for your continued patience and support as we work hard to build out this program. There will be opportunities and listening sessions designed to gather feedback on the program.
